An eight-week in-school and out-of-school enrichment program for ages 8–26 that builds a solid understanding of chess fundamentals while connecting strategy to discipline, respect, accountability, and emotional regulation.
FROM OUR REPORTS: 2025: MACM 101 reported serving 708 young people across Denver Public Schools, charter schools, and community centers.
ASK ABOUT MACM 101An eight-week program for ages 13–26, especially for youth facing suspension or probation. MACompassionM helps participants understand consequences, develop empathy, reflect on past actions, and build a stronger sense of responsibility.
FROM OUR REPORTS: 2025: 12 workshops delivered. Youth participants reported 73% improved emotional self-control and 80% increased help-seeking behaviors.
